GoKawiilReddit to shift toward logged-in-only browsing, CEO Huffman confirms
Reddit CEO Steve Huffman announced the platform will move toward a primarily logged-in experience, limiting how much content logged-out visitors can browse. Nearly 59% of Reddit's daily active unique visitors were logged out in Q3 2026, meaning the shift could affect most of the site's traffic. Reddit says it will begin testing the changes first in markets outside the US.
