GoKawiilMoofTCP launches as open drop-in replacement for Apple's MacTCP on 68k Macs
A new networking stack called MoofTCP has been released as a compatible substitute for Apple's aging MacTCP driver on 68k Macintosh computers running System 6. Written from scratch in portable C, it supports existing MacTCP applications without modification while adding DHCP support, a reversible installer, and a lower-memory 'Lite' variant for constrained machines like the 4 MB Mac Classic.
