GoKawiilDoorDash to acquire Instacart in $17 billion deal at $65 per share
DoorDash and Instacart announced a definitive merger agreement under which DoorDash will acquire Instacart for $65.00 per share, valuing the company at roughly $17 billion equity value and a 26% premium to its October 22, 2026 closing price. At least 75% of the deal will be paid in cash, with Instacart stockholders able to choose cash, DoorDash stock, or a mix, subject to a cap limiting stock to 25% of total consideration. Instacart's board has unanimously approved the agreement.
