GoKawiilDoorDash agrees to acquire Instacart for $17 billion
DoorDash and Instacart announced a definitive merger agreement under which DoorDash will acquire Instacart for $65.00 per share, valuing the company at roughly $17 billion. The deal, unanimously approved by Instacart's board, will be paid at least 75% in cash, with shareholders able to elect cash, DoorDash stock, or a mix, subject to a 25% cap on stock. The price represents a 26% premium over Instacart's closing share price on October 22, 2026.
