GoKawiilApple unveils HomeView smart display, new HomePod Mini and Apple TV 4K
Apple introduced three new devices at a New York media event: the Apple HomeView, its first smart display with a 7-inch screen and speaker base; the HomePod Mini 2; and a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K. The company also showed smart-home accessories built with LG and Schneider Electric, including a video doorbell, thermostats and security cameras. HomeView runs a standalone operating system without App Store access, instead offering a curated set of apps like Messages, Safari and FaceTime plus select third-party apps.
