macOS 27 adds remote AppleCare log collection for IT admins
Apple's fall macOS update introduces a feature letting IT administrators remotely collect AppleCare diagnostic logs (sysdiagnose) from managed Macs without needing physical access to the device or walking users through manual steps. Previously, obtaining these logs required direct device access or guiding an often-unavailable user through an unfamiliar process, which frequently delayed troubleshooting until after a device had rebooted and lost relevant state.
