Bridge Neurotech launches with $13.5M to build non-surgical brain-computer interface
Bridge Neurotech has emerged from stealth with $13.5 million in funding, including backing from General Catalyst, to develop a wearable, ultrasound-based brain-computer interface. Founder and CEO Will Biederman, who previously developed chip technology licensed by Neuralink, says his goal is to avoid the surgical implants used by competitors like Neuralink, Synchron, Paradromics and Precision Neuroscience.
