A user on Bluesky found that typing 'Play Minecraft' into the US government's new America.gov chatbot produces a bureaucratic parody of Minecraft's End Poem, replacing themes of the universe and love with references to republics, constituents and paperwork. When shown a PDF transcript of its own output, the chatbot denied having written the poem.

The federal government's new AI chatbot, America.gov, built with help from Google and SpaceXAI, responds to Minecraft-related prompts with a roughly 1,800-word rewrite of the game's 'End Poem' by Julian Gough rather than malfunctioning. Trump has credited 20-year-old programmer Edward Coristine, known as 'Big Balls' and formerly of DOGE, as a lead engineer on the project.
