Jagex confirms new RuneScape MMORPG built in Unreal Engine, working title RS4

Jagex revealed at RuneFest that it is developing a new RuneScape MMORPG set in Gielinor, built using Unreal Engine and currently carrying the working title RS4. The studio says the project is in its early stages and still years from release, and it will exist alongside existing titles RuneScape, Old School RuneScape and Dragonwilds rather than replacing them.

ArenaNet Reveals Early Guild Wars 3 Gameplay, Targets PS5 Launch

ArenaNet showed early alpha footage of Guild Wars 3, its first franchise entry built on Unreal Engine 5 and set to launch on PlayStation 5 alongside PC, marking the series' console debut. The game is set before the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 chronologically, meaning new players won't need prior series knowledge, and a beta is planned for late 2027.
