Mark Zuckerberg introduced the Meta VR Glasses, a slimmer and lighter successor to the Quest headset line, priced at $1,299 and slated for spring 2027. He also showed the Muse Charm, a handheld pendant letting users speak to Meta's Muse AI agent without a phone, expected to ship by December but with no price disclosed yet.
At Meta Connect 2026, Meta introduced the Ray-Ban Meta Audio, its first camera-free smart glasses, priced from $349 and shipping October 13. The company also revealed the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3), a slimmer version of its camera-equipped glasses with up to nine hours of battery life and a customizable action button, alongside a new Muse Charm accessory built for Meta's Muse AI assistant and a lightweight VR headset called Meta VR Glasses.
At Meta's Connect event, CEO Mark Zuckerberg introduced Muse Charm, a small keychain-sized device that houses Meta's Muse AI agent and its animated avatar, called Jolly, on a tiny screen. Users activate it via a fingerprint sensor to talk to the assistant instantly without unlocking a phone or opening an app, and Zuckerberg said the device is set to ship in time for the December holidays.
At its Connect event, Meta showed off the Muse Charm, a small Tamagotchi-style device that runs its Muse AI assistant with real-time voice and an animated avatar on screen. Mark Zuckerberg demonstrated tapping a fingerprint sensor on the device to begin talking to Muse, describing it as fitting the full Muse experience onto something wearable on a keychain. Meta has only built a handful of prototype units and still needs to finalize the design, but is targeting a holiday shipping window this December.
