Several major coffee and retail chains, including Dunkin' and Peet's, are running promotions on National Coffee Day, offering free or discounted drinks to customers. The deals span multiple retailers nationwide and are available for a limited time on the holiday.
WIRED reports that for National Coffee Day 2026, major chains like Starbucks and Krispy Kreme are largely offering new coffee-flavored products rather than the free or discounted coffee promotions typical in past years. In response, WIRED compiled deals for home coffee-making, including an Atlas Coffee Club subscription promotion running through October 5 and a De'Longhi Rivelia super-automatic espresso machine listed at its lowest tracked price.
AeroPress has released a walnut collection, its first product line to incorporate wood, ahead of National Coffee Day and shortly after debuting a stainless steel version. The lineup includes a brewer and a manual grinder, both featuring solid walnut components alongside stainless steel, aluminum and borosilicate glass, with the brewer's chamber and accessories redesigned to fit the wood accents.
