Cyberattack disables refrigeration at 400+ French supermarkets, spoiling food
A cyberattack hit refrigeration-control systems used by roughly 410 French supermarkets, including about 300 Intermarché and Netto stores, 80 Coopérative U outlets and 30 Monoprix locations, according to the New York Times. France's National Cybersecurity Agency said the attackers targeted three companies that remotely manage store refrigerators, forcing some retailers to discard spoiled food. No group has claimed responsibility, and Paris prosecutors have not identified suspects.
