Walmart is selling the digital version of Pikmin 4 for Nintendo Switch at $39.88, more than $20 below its usual price. The discount comes as the puzzle-strategy game, which adds a dog companion and darker story elements to the series' formula, prepares for a $10 Nintendo Switch 2 update.
Developer peiikai released a free fan-made PC port of the 2019 Switch remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, built almost entirely using Claude to decompile and reverse-engineer the original code. The beta runs natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with an experimental Arm Linux build, and requires users to supply their own game files. It adds features like adjustable aspect ratios and resolutions, keyboard and alternate controller support, 360-degree movement, and a randomizer with seed-based saves and item shuffling.
Titanium Court, a roguelite hybrid that blends match-three mechanics, visual novel storytelling and RPG elements, launched on Steam in April and will arrive on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Android and iOS on October 29. The game was developed by AP Thomson and won the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the Independent Games Festival Awards.
CNET previewed an early build of Nintendo's remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Switch 2, priced at $60. The hands-on session covered the game's opening in Kakariko village, where Link now has new abilities including jumping and swimming, alongside new voice acting and updated character animations. The writer described the remake as closely following the original game's structure while visually resembling the style of Link's Awakening, Echoes of Wisdom, and Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo is remaking The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Switch 2, adding modern conveniences such as a dedicated jump button, a real-time item-swapping menu, and a new progression tracker called Threads of Time viewable from the pause screen. The remake also integrates with the Nintendo Switch app's Zelda Notes feature, letting players view maps and other information on their phone. A preview session let a reporter play roughly 90 minutes covering Child Link and Adult Link sections of the game.

Accessory maker Mechanism has released its first Switch 2 case, a $49 snap-on shell called the Basecase, after some delays. It works with the company's existing modular mount system, including the $19 Basegrip, and preserves access to the console's kickstand, ports, buttons and fan vents while clamping near the bottom USB-C port for a snugger fit.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A for Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 remains priced at $39.88 on Amazon, down from $59.99 or $69.99, even after Amazon's October sale ended. The game introduces real-time battles instead of the series' traditional turn-based combat, set in a Paris-inspired version of Lumiose City. Walmart's in-house onn brand is selling microSD Express cards compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2 at $49.50 for 256GB and $84.77 for 512GB, the lowest prices currently available for this storage type.
