Sony has introduced three new Walkman portable media players for audiophiles: the NW-ZX900 starting at $1,899.99, the NW-WM1AM3 at $2,999.99, and the gold-plated NW-WM1ZM3 at $5,899. All three use Sony's DSD Remastering Engine to upsample standard audio and feature gold-plated rear chassis designed to reduce electrical interference, while the two priciest models add hand-soldered copper wiring and the top model's entire body is made of gold-plated oxygen-free copper.
