Samsung 9100 Pro SSDs discounted up to 49% in Amazon Prime sale

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event has cut prices on Samsung's 9100 Pro PCIe 5.0 SSD lineup. The 1TB model is now $206 (down from $339), the 2TB is $349, the 4TB is $750, and the 8TB is $2,280, representing discounts of roughly 16% to 49% off list prices. The 1TB and 2TB versions are now close to their original launch prices of $200 and $300.

Crucial T705 4TB Gen 5 SSD drops to $502, cheapest of its class

Amazon has cut the price of Crucial's 4TB T705 SSD to $502.51, down from nearly $700 a few weeks ago and its lowest price since February. That makes it the most affordable PCIe Gen 5 drive currently available, undercutting the Samsung 990 Evo Plus by about $60 despite offering true four-lane Gen 5 performance.
