GoKawiilIntel releases 14A PDK version 0.9, targets PDK 1.0 in Q1 2027
Intel Foundry has released version 0.9 of its process design kit for the upcoming 14A manufacturing node, based on actual silicon measurements rather than simulations. The company says this allows chipmakers to begin design work with greater confidence ahead of risk production, and plans to follow with PDK 1.0 in the first quarter of 2027 to confirm readiness for high-volume manufacturing.
