A community-built site has extended Simon Willison's informal LLM benchmark—asking models to draw an SVG of a pelican riding a bicycle—into a set of 30 drawing prompts tested across 2025 and 2026 model runs. The 2026 batch currently covers prompts 1 through 10, with images displayed unedited exactly as each model generated them.
Planet Labs, the San Francisco-based Earth-imaging company, maintains a public ephemerides feed that lists tracking data for its satellite fleet. A query of this data against catalog records shows 97 Planet Labs satellites currently active, spanning several constellations including the newly launched Pelican-11, which was deployed into low Earth orbit via SpaceX's Transporter 17 mission on July 7th.
