GoKawiilPS5 emulators SharpEmu and KytyPS5 make rapid progress on PC
Two independent PlayStation 5 emulation projects, SharpEmu and KytyPS5, have gone from no public releases to running games like the Demon's Souls remake and Astro Bot at playable framerates within months. KytyPS5 has reportedly hit 40-50fps on high-end PC hardware, while other titles such as Wolverine can only reach a menu screen at around 2fps. Both projects publish frequent GitHub updates and have policies restricting use of AI-generated code.
