YouTube TV continues offering subscribers unlimited DVR storage and an optional 4K Plus add-on for $10 more per month, covering sports, live events and some on-demand content. The service is set to lose three channels on September 30, which will also erase any DVR recordings tied to them, following last November's resolution of a separate blackout involving ABC and ESPN.

The test found Alexa Plus gives the longest, most detailed responses—including wind, air quality and 'feels like' temperatures—but occasionally mispredicted rain and tended to overestimate high temperatures.
Sony announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers will get access to three games starting Oct. 6 through Nov. 2: extraction shooter Hunt: Showdown 1896, racing title F1 25, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. The games are included at no extra cost across all PlayStation Plus membership tiers, which start at $11 a month.
Amazon announced a major update to its Alexa Plus AI assistant, adding a dedicated hub on Fire TV devices, improved reasoning, and the ability to factor in cultural context and viewing history when answering questions. The assistant will also gain support for follow-up questions and threaded conversations, and will extend to the Fire TV mobile app. Amazon says some features roll out in November, with others arriving in 2024.

Both tablets run MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chip, feature 120Hz AMOLED displays with 1,600 nits brightness, IP68 ratings, and up to 23 hours of video playback, and are thinner than last year's models. The Tab S12 Plus starts at $1,199.99 and the Ultra at $1,399.99, with availability from October 7.

An unofficial Android app called MotoKey Plus reprograms Motorola's dedicated AI key into a customizable button, assigning distinct functions to single press, double press, and press-and-hold.
