GoKawiilGreenvolt Initiates 600 MW Battery Storage Project in Poland
Greenvolt Power has commenced construction of a 600 MW/2.4 GWh battery energy storage system in Siedlce, Poland, with plans to start commercial operations by late 2027. The project will utilize BYD's battery technology and connect to the national grid via new infrastructure, enhancing grid flexibility and supporting renewable energy integration. Once completed, Greenvolt's total battery capacity in Poland will reach 1 GW with 4 GWh of storage, strengthening its role in balancing renewable power supply and demand.
