Apple released four new Mac power accessories: updated 70W and 140W power adapters, a power extension cable, and a World Travel Adapter Kit. The updated adapters support AC Connector 2 accessories and now ship with select MacBook Pro models, while the travel kit returns with five interchangeable plug types for regions including North America, Europe, India, the UK and Australia.
Apple published a support document specifying that the wall-mounted HomeView needs a separately purchased USB-C power adapter rated at least 20W with 9V/2.22A support, since it ships without a mount or adapter in the box. Apple warns that using an insufficient adapter can trigger a 'Not Enough Power' message, and some third-party mounts allow hardwiring to a home's electrical system instead.
A tech reviewer rounded up recommended fast chargers for the newly preordered iPhone 18 Pro, including Anker's Nano 45W and 70W models, Apple's 40W Dynamic Power Adapter, and ESR's CryoBoost 3-in-1 MagSafe stand. The Apple adapter reportedly delivers the fastest charging, taking the phone to 50% in 15 minutes, while the ESR stand also charges an Apple Watch and AirPods simultaneously.
