Google Store sells out of Acer, Dell, Lenovo Googlebook pre-orders

Just days after pre-orders opened on September 21, Google's US online store has run out of stock for its Acer, Dell XPS, and Lenovo Googlebook models, according to reports from Reddit users who checked the store multiple times. The laptops, which start at $899, remain available to pre-order at Best Buy ahead of an October 4 release date.

iPhone Duo Foldable Will Ship With iOS 27.1, Skipping iOS 27

Apple confirmed to CNET that its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, will launch on Oct. 23 running iOS 27.1 instead of the base iOS 27 version. The company said this build adds features specifically designed for the foldable form factor, while other iPhones are already testing the next update, iOS 27.2. Preorders for the Duo open Oct. 16, and all devices will eventually be able to move to iOS 27.2 later this year.
