GoKawiilDwarf Fortress adds procedurally generated magic systems in upcoming Myth and Magic update
Bay12 co-founder Tarn Adams revealed that Dwarf Fortress will receive a major Myth and Magic update later this year, introducing procedurally generated schools of magic tied to each world's cosmological rules. The system will let distinct forms of sorcery, enchanted materials, rituals, and ruins emerge naturally during world generation rather than following a fixed spell list.
