A manufacturer has recalled its AIR3 smart glasses after receiving 10 reports of the devices overheating, including incidents where users experienced a burning sensation on the face and left ear. Regulators cited a risk of serious injury or death as the reason for the recall.
Inmo has recalled its Air3 smart glasses in the US and Canada after the left temple was found to overheat during extended use, risking burns. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission says it has received 10 reports of users feeling a burning sensation on their face or ear, and roughly 1,600 units sold since December 2025 through Inmo's website, Amazon, and Kickstarter are affected. Inmo is offering a free software update to fix the problem and tells users to stop wearing the glasses until it's applied.
Eye drop products sold at a major grocery chain have joined a growing list of recalls tied to inadequate sterility assurance. The manufacturer flagged that the products may not meet sterility standards required for products applied directly to the eye, raising the risk of contamination.
