Sony launches QSSR AI upscaling for base PS5 consoles

Digital Foundry testing found QSSR produces sharper images with less shimmering and ghosting than older methods like TAA or FSR 3, though it renders from a lower base resolution than the PS5 Pro's PSSR and costs roughly 9 fps versus Insomniac's own upscaler.
