New robotic lawn mowers featuring dedicated arms for trimming edges have launched, but restrictions on Chinese robotics imports mean American consumers likely won't get access anytime soon. These next-generation mowers solve a longstanding gap in robotic lawn care by handling edges and borders that current robomowers typically miss.
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Roborock showcased an expanded lineup of home robots—including the Saros 20 Flow Complete and Saros 20 Neo vacuums—designed to reduce manual upkeep across vacuuming, mopping, lawn mowing and pool cleaning. The Saros 20 Flow Complete features 36,000 pa suction, lidar navigation, AI-based recognition of over 300 obstacle types, and a slim 8.98cm profile with a high-pressure roller mop. Roborock executives framed the release as part of a broader push toward hands-free home maintenance across multiple product categories.
Mammotion is discounting its LUBA 3 AWD 3000H robot lawn mower to $2,239 from $2,799 and its smaller LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500H to $1,799 from $1,999 through August 31. Both deals include a free $79 cleaning stand, and new customers buying the mini 2 directly from Mammotion can apply an extra $50-off coupon.
