OpenAI now lists 27 open robotics positions on its careers page, more than double the 11 postings seen in May, spanning hardware, software, data and prototyping work. A new report highlights that executives at several S&P 500 companies, including Walmart, DoorDash, and Target, continue to receive large compensation packages even as many of their employees face financial hardship. The findings point to a widening gap between CEO pay and worker wages at firms often categorized as low-wage employers.
A leaked spreadsheet obtained by Business Insider compiled self-reported salary data from about 600 Microsoft employees, revealing wide pay ranges by job level. Entry-level engineers reported base pay between $111,000 and $155,500, while senior levels reached up to $245,000 in base salary, and principal or director roles topped out around $280,000 with bonuses as high as $110,000.
