Samsung Community forum to go offline Oct 30–Nov 2 for platform overhaul

Samsung will take its Community forum offline for 72 hours starting October 30 at 5 AM ET to perform a major platform overhaul, returning November 2. During the outage, users will still be able to read existing posts via the web, but drafts, direct messages, bookmarks, and subscriptions will not carry over to the new version.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra owners report YouTube video freezing bug

Multiple Samsung Galaxy device owners, mostly using the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, report that YouTube videos freeze with audio still playing after switching away from the app and back. The issue has been discussed for weeks on a Korean Samsung community forum, with some users of the standard Z Fold 8 and Galaxy S26 Ultra also reporting similar problems. Samsung has not publicly responded to the reports.
