GoKawiilSamsung expands upgraded sleep apnea detection to Galaxy Watch 9, Ultra 2 and Galaxy Ring
Samsung has begun rolling out an improved sleep apnea detection feature to the Galaxy Watch 9, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, and Galaxy Ring in the US and South Korea. The update follows clearances from the FDA and South Korea's MFDS, and arrives through the Samsung Health Monitor app. Instead of a simple yes/no result, the algorithm now tracks blood oxygen drops and breathing disruptions across two sleep sessions within a 10-day window to gauge severity.
