GoKawiilPitbull owner's free 3D-printed nose guard now worn by 500 dogs
A dog owner designed a 3D-printed 'Doguard' nose cover after their pitbull Billie was diagnosed with discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE), a condition requiring twice-daily ointment and sun avoidance that Billie kept licking off. After thirteen prototypes produced a working design, the owner uploaded the file free to MakerWorld and shared the process on Reddit rather than selling it commercially. Since then, requests from other owners have grown the project to roughly 500 dogs now wearing a version of the guard.
