CNET tested 19 large and extra-large portable power stations by connecting each to a standard refrigerator to see how long they could sustain it during an outage. The Fossibot 3600 Pro led the pack at 44.65 hours, followed by the Oupes Mega 5 at 43.72 hours, while the Oscal Power Max 2400 lasted just 12.58 hours despite similar categorization.

The Fossibot 3600 Pro led the pack at 44.65 hours, narrowly beating the Oupes Mega 5 at 43.72 hours, while the Oscal Power Max 2400 lasted just 12.58 hours. Notably, the pricier Anker Solix F3800 Plus underperformed relative to its large 3,840Wh capacity, running only 25.68 hours.
Anker has introduced the SOLIX E10, a stackable home backup system combining a Power Module, up to five 6,000Wh Battery Modules, solar charging input, and a tri-fuel Smart Generator that runs on gasoline, propane, or natural gas. A separate Power Dock acts as a smart breaker panel, tying up to three Power Modules into the home's electrical system for as much as 90kWh of stored capacity.
