GoKawiilYuE2 debuts music generation model using symbolic planning, benchmarked on WildSongBench
YuE2 is a new AI music generation system evaluated against WildSongBench, a test set of 192 prompts across 15 system configurations. The evaluation used automated scoring methods, including a best-of-8 selection approach that picks the strongest output from eight generations based on musicality, adherence to the prompt, and lyric accuracy. Results were charted using combined metrics like SongBench, SongEval, MuLan, and AllMusicCaps to measure song quality and text alignment.
