GoKawiilElevationLab discontinues AirTag Silencer, cites stalking risk
ElevationLab has pulled its $9.99 AirTag Silencer, a tool designed to disable an AirTag's speaker, after criticism that it could help someone track a person without alerting them via notifications. The company said in a statement titled 'An apology' that it had removed the product from sale and would use its patent to block others from making a similar device. The accessory is also no longer listed on Amazon, though it still appears in autocomplete search suggestions.
