Square Enix announced during a Sony State of Play that Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the concluding chapter of its three-part remake trilogy, will launch April 8, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2 and PC. The game follows 2020's Remake and 2024's Rebirth, wrapping up the retold story from the original 1997 PlayStation title, including the climactic showdown with Sephiroth. Pre-orders are live for PS5, with bonus summon spells and a Premium Edition offering early access, extra items and future DLC.
