CUKTECH showed a new lineup of charging hardware at IFA Berlin, headlined by the CUKTECH 30 Ultra Charging Station, a 300W desktop hub with a dedicated laptop DC port plus multiple USB-C and USB-A outputs. It also debuted a wearable exoskeleton kit powered by portable battery packs, alongside other GaN charger updates, extending the company's decade-long focus on efficient DC-DC power design.
A ZDNET reviewer cautions that although many power stations are technically capable of powering large appliances like central air conditioning, electric water heaters, space heaters, and ovens, doing so isn't advisable during outages. The concern is that these heat-producing and high-draw devices can rapidly deplete a power station's limited battery capacity, undermining its usefulness as backup power.
CNET tested 19 large and extra-large portable power stations by connecting each to a standard refrigerator to see how long they could sustain it during an outage. The Fossibot 3600 Pro led the pack at 44.65 hours, followed by the Oupes Mega 5 at 43.72 hours, while the Oscal Power Max 2400 lasted just 12.58 hours despite similar categorization.

YouTube is broadening its 24/7 Stations feature, which launched earlier this year with continuous music streams, to now include podcasts, media channels, and general creator videos. The rollout is limited to a small group of creators for now, and Stations will surface intermittently in Home and Search feeds rather than through a dedicated section.
