GoKawiilGM details 2028 EV platform with new chip, AI assistant for Escalade IQ debut
At its GM Forward event, GM unveiled its fourth-generation EV platform focused on new battery chemistry, redesigned electric motors, and a new central computing architecture linking acceleration, steering, braking and safety systems through software. Chief product officer Sterling Anderson said the goal is vehicles that 'understand context' and reduce friction for drivers, with the technology debuting in the 2028 Cadillac Escalade IQ.
