GoKawiilHarvard lab predicts 75% of suicide attempts within a week using daily monitoring
A multiyear Harvard study led by psychologist Matthew K. Nock tracked over 600 high-risk adults and adolescents and successfully predicted 75 percent of suicide attempts and 87 percent of suicide-related events in the seven days before they happened. The findings, set to publish in the Journal of Psychopathology and Clinical Science, mark a sharp improvement over traditional models that forecast risk months or years out rather than days.
