Recruitment professionals say AI is automating candidate sourcing and screening tasks that agencies traditionally charged for, with surveys showing significant time savings. Adecco reported six AI recruitment agents running in the UK and France, saving about 15% of time spent on recruitment processes in the UK, while a Bullhorn survey found 37% of UK and Ireland recruiters saw screening speed up by 26-50%.
Valve's latest Steam Hardware Survey shows the share of gamer systems with 32GB or more RAM fell by over 5% in a single month, while PCs with 1TB or more total storage dropped nearly 5%. Analysis of the U.S. Census Bureau's Business Trends and Outlook Survey shows that large companies' reported AI use jumped from about 12% in September 2025 to roughly 40% by October 2026. The increase largely reflects a change in the survey question, from asking whether AI was used in 'producing goods or services' to asking about use in 'any business function,' rather than a sudden surge in actual adoption.
