GoKawiilOpen-Source Tool Removes Apple Intelligence Models, Freeing 12GB on Mac
RemoveMacAI, a new command-line utility, enables macOS 27 users to disable Apple Intelligence and recover over 12GB of storage. It achieves this by deploying a configuration profile that turns off Apple's asset management service and redirects model downloads to a closed port, all without compromising system security features like SIP. The tool offers a way to reclaim significant disk space that was previously difficult to free through standard settings.
