President Trump hosted executives from Alphabet, Meta, SpaceX, Nvidia, Palantir, Anthropic, OpenAI and other firms at a White House lunch, where they signed a two-page 'Accord on Super Intelligence' committing companies to develop AI safely on their own terms. The document does not create any binding government oversight, and Trump has previously dismissed AI safety fears as a 'hoax.'
