Intel471 found that Italian organizations are hit by cyberattacks at a rate disproportionate to the country's size, economy and political standing, according to a report shared exclusively with Dark Reading. The firm also found that attacks exploiting web infrastructure and vulnerabilities are far more common against Italian targets than elsewhere. Analyst Gianluca Tiepolo said the investigation began after Italy repeatedly topped the firm's internal monthly threat statistics.
