GoKawiilRepair technician shows TVs discarded over single failed backlight LED
UK repair technician Allen Fleckney has repeatedly posted viral videos showing modern televisions declared unfixable after they stop displaying any picture. In each case the actual fault is one failed LED in the backlight strip; Fleckney bridges two pins so the set's firmware no longer detects the fault, and the television works again. The videos, covered by Cybernews and Digital Trends, show the panel itself was never damaged.
