GoKawiilVilla Vie Suspends Odyssey 'Endless Cruise,' Forces Residents Off Ship in Cambodia
Villa Vie Residences halted operations of its Villa Vie Odyssey residential cruise ship, telling all passengers to disembark by 2 pm after CEO Kathy Villaba said the company could not secure enough fuel to continue sailing. The company says monthly per-cabin fuel costs jumped from roughly $1,800 to as much as $8,000, making it unable to keep operating without passing on unaffordable increases to residents who live aboard full-time.
