GoKawiilYelp launches AI voice agent to call restaurants and check wait times
Yelp introduced a feature called Check for Me that lets app users have an AI voice agent call a restaurant to ask about wait times, after entering party size and phone number, with results sent back via text. Yelp also upgraded its AI assistant with OpenTable booking integration, memory of past preferences, 30-day chat history, custom reminders, and new shareable 'Been Here' and 'Want to Go' lists.
