Iceland-based Treble, founded in 2020 by acoustic engineers Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen, has closed an $18 million extension to its Series A round led by Paladin Capital Group, with backing from KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures, EIC, and Omega ehf. The funding brings Treble's total raised to over $40 million, following a $12 million round in 2024, and the company already counts Amazon and Logitech among its customers.
Listen Labs, a voice-AI market research startup, had signed a term sheet for a $125 million Series C led by Menlo Ventures at a $1.5 billion valuation, but walked away before closing. Sources say the reversal stems from ongoing acquisition talks with Salesforce, reportedly worth around $2 billion, though no deal has been finalized.

The company, which processes 20 million call attempts monthly for clients like Cred, Flipkart, Practo and Policybazaar, is shifting from simple outbound calling toward complex workflows such as healthcare appointment booking and fintech KYC checks. Ringg is also expanding beyond phone calls into chat and WhatsApp channels, and automating browser-based support for clients like Shell.
Threat intelligence firm SOCRadar has exposed AnonyMousKIT, a phishing-as-a-service platform active since early 2024 that automates theft of Apple Activation Lock codes needed to unlock stolen iPhones. The operation spans 506 domains and 168 reseller storefronts, and uses AI-driven voice calls impersonating Apple to trick victims into handing over unlock credentials, iCloud data, and Keychain passwords.
