GoKawiilBioLite launches modular battery backup designed for home refrigerators
BioLite is releasing Backup, a self-installable battery system aimed at keeping refrigerators running during power outages. The base Core unit delivers 1,526 Wh with a 1,800W rated output, and can be paired with an Extend add-on to double capacity to 3,072 Wh, with up to 60 hours of runtime depending on the fridge. Units plug into standard 120-volt outlets, require no special wiring, and additional Extend modules can be chained up to a 10.5 kWh maximum.
