Amazon is offering the TP-Link Deco X15 Wi-Fi 6 mesh router at a 29% discount, bringing the price down to $42, its lowest point this year. The unit includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports mesh networking for extended home coverage.
At IFA 2026, Ulefone sub-brand RugOne showed off the Xsnap 7 Pro, a rugged Android phone with a magnetically attached action camera that pops out of its back. The removable module records up to 2.8K at 30fps or 1440p at 50fps, holds 64GB of storage, is waterproof to 5 meters, and connects to the phone over Wi-Fi 6 from as far as 50 meters away.
The Starlink Mini X kit ships with a separate Router Mini, but the dish already includes built-in Wi-Fi 5 that covers up to 1,200 square feet and supports 128 devices. The Router Mini instead adds Wi-Fi 6 with a larger 1,300-square-foot range and support for 235 devices, and can run in mesh mode alongside the built-in radio via wireless or Ethernet link.
HP has entered a global, multi-year agreement to license standard-essential WiFi patents from Huawei, the two companies confirmed Wednesday. HP described the deal as a routine patent licensing arrangement rather than a broader partnership, noting it followed a prior patent-pool agreement covering 2,000 wireless connectivity patents that Huawei helped found.
