World Model Startups AMI Labs and World Labs Stay Quiet on Commercial Plans

At the All In conference, AMI Labs co-founder Michael Rabbatt declined to detail his company's product roadmap for its spatial-intelligence 'world model' technology, saying only that AMI will discuss plans 'when we're ready.' World Labs, maker of the Marble platform, has shown demos in gaming, media and CGI but has not clarified a clear commercial direction, and even data supplier Physicl's CEO Alex de Vigan says he doesn't know exactly how his company's data is being used.

World Labs unveils Atlas, an omni world model for 3D generation and reconstruction

World Labs introduced Atlas, a multimodal autoregressive diffusion transformer pretrained from scratch to jointly handle text, images, video, and 3D data within a shared spatial context. The model can generate camera-controlled videos up to one minute at 1440p, reconstruct real-world scenes from sparse imagery into novel views and explicit 3D, and simulate space-time from video for effects and robotics workflows.
