At IFA 2026, Ulefone sub-brand RugOne showed off the Xsnap 7 Pro, a rugged Android phone with a magnetically attached action camera that pops out of its back. The removable module records up to 2.8K at 30fps or 1440p at 50fps, holds 64GB of storage, is waterproof to 5 meters, and connects to the phone over Wi-Fi 6 from as far as 50 meters away.
RugOne, part of Ulefon, unveiled the Xsnap 7 Pro, a rugged smartphone featuring a magnetic, removable camera module that doubles as an action cam. The 39-gram module shoots up to 2.7K/30fps, holds 64GB storage, runs 40 minutes per charge, and streams a preview to a companion app up to 50 meters away. The phone itself includes a 50MP main camera, a 64MP infrared night-vision sensor, a 6.67-inch 120Hz display, IP68/IP69K durability ratings, and a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip.
RugOne unveiled the Xsnap 7 Pro, a rugged smartphone with IP68/IP69K ratings whose rear camera module detaches to work as a standalone action cam shooting 2.7K video at 30fps. The device launches on Kickstarter September 7 for €799 in limited quantities before a global release in October priced at $999.
