GoKawiilYggstore launches as experimental encrypted file storage over Yggdrasil mesh
A new proof-of-concept project called Yggstore lets groups of peers share disk space over the Yggdrasil overlay network without any central VPN coordinator. Files are encrypted, split into shards and distributed across members' machines, with a small 'stub' left behind holding the decryption key that can be shared independently to retrieve the file. The project also supports versioned backups, direct and broadcast messaging between nodes, group-hosted websites, and email delivery to a domain, all built atop the mesh.
